Saracens sweep aside Bath

Saracens secure their third victory in a row with a 31-17 triumph over Bath.

David Strettle scored two first-half tries as his Saracens side coasted to a 31-17 victory at home to Bath in the Aviva Premiership.

Owen Farrell kicked the hosts into an early lead with a penalty in the third minute, and the England international then converted Strettle's 10th-minute try.

Alex Goode and Matt Stevens both crossed the line before Strettle got his second try of the game on the stroke of half time.

Farrell maintained his 100% record by converting all four tries to give Saracens a mammoth 28-point lead at the break.

Semesa Rodokuguni and Dave Attwood scored second-half tries to suggest that an unlikely comeback was on the cards, but Saracens dug in to secure their third successive victory.
