Bath target Taulupe Faletau is 'happy' at Newport Gwent Dragons

Kingsley Jones has stated that Taulupe Faletau will not be leaving Newport Gwent Dragons any time soon.

Newport Gwent Dragons head coach Kingsley Jones has insisted that number eight Taulupe Faletau will stay at the club amid rumours that Bath are interested in him.

Faletau has been continuously linked with a move to England, and with the player not part of the Welsh dual contract system and with only one year left on his current deal, the rumours are only getting stronger.

"Honestly, Toby's really happy," Jones told BBC Sport. "We did bring it up a few months ago about his contract, looking to extend it even further.

"It's a long time to still run on his contract, I'm sure Toby wants to get through the World Cup before he looks at any option. Anyone would be interested in a player of Toby's qualities."

Tongan-born Faletau, 24, has been at the Dragons since 2009, making close to 100 appearances for the club.
