France thrash Argentina to gain series revenge in Tucuman

France have defeated Argentina 27-0 in Tucuman this evening to level up the two-Test series in emphatic style.

Les Bleus, showing several changes from last week's opening-game loss at the same venue, crossed over three times in total to end their tour on a high.

Twenty-five minutes had passed before the first points were registered, as Baptiste Serin sent a penalty clean through to put his side into a lead that they would not relinquish.

The first try of the match arrived just before the interval after Serin raced clear down the wing and picked out Hugo Bonneval to do the rest, putting France into a strong position at the break.

Serin kicked over three more points 44 minutes in as the visitors picked up from where they left off, before Remi Lamerat was sent over for score number two of the match.

Les Bleus rounded things off with one final five-point haul soon after the hour, when a quick penalty allowed Loann Goujon to race in behind for an emphatic French victory against the world's fifth-best side.
