Bradford forward Elliot Whitehead could miss the last three games of the season due to a biting charge.

Elliot Whitehead could be ruled out of the rest of Bradford’s season after being charged with a biting offence by the Rugby Football League.

The forward, who could miss the remaining three matches of the season, clashed with Jordan Cox during the game with Hull KR in the Super League on Sunday.

The 21-year-old is the second player to face this charge within a few weeks after it was revealed that Harlequins’ David Howell was suspended for six games.

Meanwhile, Ian Henderson, Damien Blanch and Kirk Yeaman have all been charged for misconduct during Hull’s win over Catalan last week.
