Catalans Dragons confirm signing of Leeds Rhinos hooker Paul Aiton

Catalans Dragons confirm the signing of Leeds Rhinos hooker Paul Aiton from Leeds Rhinos on a three-year deal from 2016.

Catalans Dragons have confirmed the signing of Leeds Rhinos hooker Paul Aiton on a three-year deal from 2016.

Papua New Guinea international Aiton rejected a contract extension at Headingley, instead opting to replace the outgoing Ian Henderson in the South of France.

The 30-year-old, an ever-present for the Rhinos this season, told reporters: "I am looking forward to the challenge.

"I will always be honoured to have played for Leeds Rhinos but the opportunity to move to France from next season and be part of the Dragons was something that excited me at this stage in my career."

In his two years at the Rhinos, Aiton has made 46 appearances, scoring three tries.
