Leeds Rhinos crush Salford Red Devils to return to top of Super League

Leeds Rhinos score 13 tries in a 68-6 rout over Salford Red Devils in Super League.

Leeds Rhinos scored 13 tries to record an emphatic 70-6 win over Salford Red Devils in Super League this evening, moving them back to the top of the table.

The home side dominated the opening 40 minutes, running in seven tries through seven different scorers, including Joel Moon who also had one ruled out following a video replay.

Salford had to play with just 12 men on the pitch for a spell in the first half as Adrian Morley was shown a yellow card for a high challenge on Jimmy Keinhorst.

Ryan Hall and Zak Hardaker both added their second tries of the night shortly after the restart, while Niall Evalds got the visitors off the mark with just over 50 minutes gone.

Leeds continued to push despite their huge lead, running the score up further late on as Carl Ablett added two tries inside the final 15 minutes to complete the rout.
