Jones-Buchanan sidelined for nine months

Leeds Rhinos prop Jamie Jones-Buchanan has been ruled out of action for nine months after undergoing knee surgery.

The 33-year-old was injured during the team's Challenge Cup semi-final win over St Helens last month.

Meanwhile, hooker Paul Aiton has been sidelined for 16 weeks with a dislocated wrist. The 30-year-old is due to join Catalans Dragons at the end of the season.

Leeds return to Super League action on Friday when they host Wigan Warriors in the Super 8s.
