Report: Jordan Rankin given time to decide Hull FC future

Jordan Rankin has reportedly been given time to decide on his Hull FC future amid suggestions that he is seeking a return back to Australia.

Hull FC remain hopeful that Jordan Rankin will commit his future to the club despite his desire to return to Australia, according to a report.

The 23-year-old, who has yet to play for the Black and Whites this season, was quoted last week as saying that he would like to find a deal with an NRL side in order to move back to his homeland.

It is claimed by the Hull Daily Mail that Rankin is stalling on a new contract because he wants a clause inserted which will allow him to leave should an offer come in over the next three years.

Hull are said to be respectful of the player's wish to be closer to his family, and would not stand in his way if a bid is made.
