Hull FC pair out for season

Hull FC lose first-team players Sam Moa and Danny Tickle for the rest of the season, with both needing surgery on bicep injuries.

Hull FC have lost first-team players Sam Moa and Danny Tickle for the rest of the season, with both needing surgery on bicep injuries.

The duo are out for three months, meaning they will not be back before the end of the season, and coach Peter Gentle has revealed his disappointment at losing two more players to an injury list that already totalled 10.

Speaking to the club's official website, Gentle said: "It's obviously a huge blow to lose two of your first-team squad.

"It definitely leaves us a little short, we're not having the best run of luck with injuries at the moment but that is part of the game and we must roll our sleeves up and get on with it."

Hull FC are currently seventh in the Super League with 22 points.
