Ryan Moore took the victory during this afternoon's Epsom Derby on board Ruler of the World.
Dawn Approach had been rated as the clear favourite to win the race, but despite having held the lead heading up the hill, he fell away in the closing stages and finished down the field.
7-1 shot Ruler of the World took advantage of that failure to hand trainer Aidan O'Brien his fourth triumph at the race.
"He was unbeaten coming here and is a great horse," said O'Brien shortly after the race.
Libertarian came second, while Galileo Rock took third spot.
