French Horse Racing Authority to discuss Frankie Dettori's positive test next month

The French Horse Racing Authority have confirmed that a meeting will be held next month regarding Frankie Dettori, who tested positive for a banned substance at Longchamp earlier this year.

The Italian jockey was hit with a suspension by Gallop following the drug revelations, which emerged earlier this month.

It has now been confirmed that the authorities will look into the case and could come to a decision regarding Dettori's racing future on December 4.

The Italian's solicitor Christopher Stewart-Moore recently revealed that the banned substance was not a performance-enhancing drug.
