Frankie Dettori's potential racing ban 'to be announced tomorrow'

Italian jockey Frankie Dettori will reportedly learn tomorrow if he faces a ban from competing by the French Horse Racing Authority.

Dettori tested positive for a banned substance at Longchamp racecourse in September and the French racing stewards met today to discuss a potential ban for the jockey.

It is understood that the officials have concluded their hearing in Paris and a statement regarding Dettori's fate will be announced tomorrow, according to the Racing Post.

If the jockey is found to have broken France Galop's rules, then he could face several months suspended from racing.
