Peace And Co wins JCB Triumph Hurdle

Jockey Barry Geraghty rides Peace And Co to victory in the JCB Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

Pre-race favourite Peace And Co has produced a strong finish to win the JCB Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

Much of the early pace was set by Dicosimo, who was being ridden by Ruby Walsh, but after he faltered after the penultimate fence, three horses, all trained by Nicky Henderson, took over the remainder of the race.

Tony McCoy was in contention for his second win at this year's festival on Hargam, but after he dropped back, Peace And Co and Top Notch battled for the spoils.

Top Notch initially looked like he would edge out his rival but Barry Geraghty's Peace And Co fought back to win by half a length.
