Report: England supporters attacked in Sao Paulo ahead of Uruguay game

A report suggests that a group of England supporters have been attacked in Sao Paulo by a Brazilian gang.

Ten England supporters have reportedly been attacked in Sao Paulo ahead of tonight's game against Uruguay.

Eyewitnesses at the scene claimed that a Brazilian gang appeared to throw an explosive towards a group of Three Lions supporters near the fan fest area in the city centre, according to Goal.com.

The same report states that all 10 of the supporters had been taken to hospital with minor injuries, with police arresting 15 people at the scene.

The gang are said to have also caused damage to shops in the surrounding area as they tried to escape from the police.
