Rory McIlroy 'allowed to use players' gym at Wimbledon'

Former world number one golfer Rory McIlroy has reportedly been given permission to use the players' gym at Wimbledon.

The Northern Irishman, who is the boyfriend of tennis star Caroline Wozniacki, is believed to have angered 10th seed Maria Kirilenko, who was knocked out by Laura Robson in the first round yesterday.

It is understood that Kirilenko was left fuming when her ice hockey boyfriend Alexander Ovechkin was barred from using the facilities in the Millenium Building complex, according to the Daily Mail.

McIlroy's other half Wozniacki is due to face Petra Cetkovska in her second-round match at SW19 today.
