The Duchess of Cambridge will reportedly be given an ambassadorial role at Wimbledon from next year.

The wife of Prince William is a known tennis fan and was photographed attending a number of matches on Centre Court last year.

The 31-year-old will carry out the presentation of trophies from the 2014 tournament onwards, according to the Daily Star.

The Duke of Kent, who is the president of the All England Club, currently holds the role.
