Punter puts £1,000 on Jimmy Bullard to win 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!'

One Essex punter has placed a four-figure bet on Jimmy Bullard to be crowned King of the Jungle in the latest series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

It was confirmed yesterday that the former Wigan Athletic, Fulham, Hull City and Ipswich Town midfielder would be taking part in the ITV reality show.

He is one of 10 contestants and the heavy favourite with bookies as he is known for his light-hearted personality.

One Ladbrokes customer is so convinced that the 36-year-old will win that he has placed a £1,000 bet on him to come out on top.

TV presenter and radio DJ Craig Charles is second favourite to Bullard.
