West Ham United fans have voted 'The Post' as their Man of the Match after Saturday afternoon's lucky escape when beating Hull City 1-0 at the London Stadium.
The Hammers saw their opponents thwarted on three separate occasions by the upright, before Mark Noble tucked away a disputed penalty to earn back-to-back home wins for his side.
Supporters showed that, despite their current perilous position, they still have a sense of humour by naming the frame of the goal as the undisputed key factor in the narrow win.
A Twitter poll on the club's official account saw The Post take 57% of the 4,700 votes, ahead of Andy Carroll (14%), Cheikhou Kouyate (17%) and Winston Reid (12%).

Hammers boss Slaven Bilic admitted after the match that his side were fortunate to claim the win, telling reporters: "Yes, I feel like a lucky man, for long periods they look like they deserved something."
West Ham, now 13th in the Premier League table, return to action on Boxing Day with a trip to face Swansea City.
