West Ham United's David Gold welcomes Pedro Obiang with picture of Angelo Ogbonna

West Ham United co-chairman David Gold made a gaffe on Twitter this afternoon by tweeting a picture of the wrong player when welcoming Pedro Obiang to the Hammers.

Gold said that he was "delighted to announce" the arrival of Obiang, but added a picture of Juventus's Angelo Ogbonna.

He has since deleted the tweet and re-sent it with the correct picture, also revealing that Obiang has "promised me that he'd learn to sing (Forever Blowing) Bubbles in less than a month".

Obiang scored three goals in 34 Serie A appearances for Sampdoria last term.
