Andy Carroll 'used events company to plan proposal to Billi Mucklow'

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll reportedly enlisted the help of company F13 Events to plan his proposal to girlfriend Billi Mucklow.

The couple announced yesterday that they were engaged after the footballer popped the question during a holiday in Rome.

The company tweeted Carroll saying: "@AndyTCarroll @BilliMucklow it was a pleasure planning your proposal in Rome roll on the wedding #MrsCarroll @F13VIP."

The 25-year-old received some Twitter abuse from fellow users, who poked fun at the player for not arranging his proposal to the former The Only Way Is Essex star himself.
