Andy Carroll's H&M fashion ad displayed in New York's Times Square

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll has appeared on a billboard in New York City's legendary Times Square as part of his involvement in an H&M fashion campaign.

The 25-year-old, who is yet to play a game this season due to injury, recently modelled for Alexander Wang after being picked from around 200 candidates.

Carroll, who was recently signed to agency Select Models, posted an image of the New York ad to his Instagram account.

The former Liverpool striker is expected to be playing again within three weeks after suffering ankle ligament damage in pre-season training.
