Police arrest 13-year-old boy over attack on Watford supporter

A 13-year-old boy has been arrested by West Midlands police in connection to a street attack that left a Watford supporter with a severe head injury.

The 44-year-old football fan is critically ill after being assaulted in Littles Lane following Watford's 2-2 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, March 7 at Molineux.

Today, the authorities confirmed that a young teenage boy has been taken into custody on suspicion of being involved in the incident.

An 18-year-old man in connection with the assault was released on bail on Thursday after being questioned by police.
