Teenager bailed following arrest in relation to attack on Watford fan

A teenage man has been released on bail by police after he was arrested in connection with an attack on a Watford supporter.

The 18-year-old was questioned by West Midlands Police on Wednesday following the attack, which left a 44-year-old man with a severe head injury.

The unprovoked attack occurred in Littles Lane just after 5pm on Saturday, March 5 following Watford's 2-2 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molinuex.

The teenager was arrested in the Wednesfield area of Wolverhampton at 4am on Wednesday and has now been bailed until April 8.
