Ex-Swansea City defender Chico Flores celebrates wedding day with altar selfie

Former Swansea City defender Chico Flores celebrates on his wedding day by taking a photograph at the altar using a selfie stick.

Former Swansea City defender Chico Flores has marked the occasion of his wedding day by taking a photograph at the altar using a selfie stick.

In 2014, the 28-year-old left the Liberty Stadium for Qatari side Lekhwiya where last season he helped the team win the league and the Qatar Cup.

Flores, standing at the altar with his new wife and the priest, can be seen holding the stick out in order to capture as much of the congregation assembled in the church as possible.

The message with the image posted on social media read: "Thanks greatly to everyone who attended yesterday. I take my hat off to all the guests. Selfie with the priest."

Flores scored two goals in 57 appearances during his two-year spell at the club.
