Sunderland duo 'burgled while on holiday'

Sunderland's Stephane Sessegnon and Phil Bardsley reportedly had their homes burgled while on holiday.

Northumbria Police have confirmed that thousands of pounds' worth of items were taken from the two properties over 13 days from May 21.

Sessegnon discovered that a television, jewellery and two cars were stolen from his home in Ponteland, Northumberland, while Bardsley has had two vehicles taken from his house in East Rainton, according to the Daily Mail.

Police have arrested a 25-year-old on suspicion of burglary.
