Jermain Defoe advertises for personal assistant who can 'create global brand'

Sunderland striker Jermain Defoe has advertised for an executive personal assistant who can organise the footballer's diary relating to family and social events, as well as create a "global brand".

The advert, which has been placed on secsinthecity.co.uk, informs the candidate that they will need to arrange travel for Defoe on a day-to-day basis, as well as organise the striker's "personal needs", such as sorting out dry cleaning and "everyday tasks".

In addition, Defoe has requested that his new personal assistant 'manage and organise' individual family members and create his own "brand", which involves growing his presence on social media and creating iPhone apps.

The job pays between £50,000 and £60,000 per annum.
