Two Roma fans 'jailed for attacking Tottenham Hotspur supporters in Rome'

Two Roma supporters are reportedly jailed for their part in an attack on Tottenham Hotspur fans in Italy last November.

Two Roma supporters have reportedly been jailed for their part in an attack on a group of Tottenham Hotspur fans in Italy last November.

Mauro Pinelli, 26, and 27-year-old Francesco Ianari were found guilty by a court in Rome of assault and grevious bodily harm following the incident that occurred before a Europa League clash between Spurs and Lazio.

According to the Daily Mail, Pinelli was sentenced to five-and-a-half years in jail, while Ianari was hit with a four-and-a-half-year sentence behind bars.

Twelve supporters were injured in the attack, which occurred in The Drunken Ship bar before the match.
