Linesman David Bryan was hit on the back of the neck with an alleged flare or smoke bomb thrown from the section holding Spurs fans during Tottenham's 2-0 victory over Aston Villa yesterday.
Two men were arrested following the match and have been released on bail today, according to Sky Sports News.
Despite getting hit by the object, Bryan was fine to continue for the remainder of the game.
