Sheffield United's Dave Kitson unmasked as 'The Secret Footballer'?

Sheffield United striker Dave Kitson has reportedly been unveiled as 'The Secret Footballer', who is the author of a book exposing the antics of players away from the pitch.

Kitson is believed to be behind the pseudonym, who also writes columns for British newspaper The Guardian, after a feature made by Danish TV channel 6'eren exposed the player.

The former Stoke City and Reading forward is thought to have been behind the explosive book after the TV channel were asked to remove their feature by an English club, according to Jyllands-Posten Sport.

'The Secret Footballer' has told stories of players having drinking binges and spending vast amounts of cash in Las Vegas.
