Adil Rami responds to overweight claims

Sevilla defender Adil Rami has posted a picture of his torso on social media after being called 'fat' by a section of his club's supporters.

It is understood that the Frenchman has been subjected to taunts this season, with some claiming that the 29-year-old was carrying too much weight.

The centre-back has responded by posting a picture of his bare-chested self, where he has asked the supporters in question to approach the player's wife about whether she thinks that he is currently not in good shape.

Rami was part of the Sevilla team that drew 0-0 with Real Betis at the weekend, a result that left Unai Emery's side in eighth spot in La Liga.
