Katy Perry backing Seattle Seahawks to win Super Bowl

Super Bowl XLIX half-time performer Katy Perry has revealed that she is backing the Seattle Seahawks to win the Vince Lombardi trophy on Sunday.

The 30-year-old admitted that she was conversing with Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson recently, and because of her friendship with the signal-caller, Perry conceded that she was picking Pete Carroll's men to triumph over the New England Patriots.

Perry will follow the likes of Madonna and Beyonce in performing at half time of the Super Bowl in the 12-minute segment.
