Two Roma fans 'jailed for Spurs attack'

Two Roma supporters have reportedly been jailed for their part in an attack on a group of Tottenham Hotspur fans in Italy last November.

Mauro Pinelli, 26, and 27-year-old Francesco Ianari were found guilty by a court in Rome of assault and grevious bodily harm following the incident that occurred before a Europa League clash between Spurs and Lazio.

According to the Daily Mail, Pinelli was sentenced to five-and-a-half years in jail, while Ianari was hit with a four-and-a-half-year sentence behind bars.

Twelve supporters were injured in the attack, which occurred in The Drunken Ship bar before the match.
