Parents of F1's Christian Horner 'disapprove of engagement to Geri Halliwell'

The parents of Red Bull Formula 1 boss Christian Horner have reportedly refused to attend his wedding to former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell.

While there is no set date for the nuptials, it is believed that Horner's mother and father disapprove of his choice of fiancee, who was a member of the five-piece girlband.

According to The Mirror, Horner's parents are "absolutely devastated" about the engagement, which was announced by the couple in The Times last month.

Horner began dating Halliwell after his 14-year relationship with Beverley Allan, who is the mother to his one-year-old daughter, came to an end.

Halliwell is mother to eight-year-old daughter Bluebell from her previous relationship with American screenwriter Sascha Gervasi.
