Cristiano Ronaldo has "great fun" with Diego Maradona

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo met up with Argentina legend Diego Maradona ahead of his team's trip to Manchester.

The Portugal captain will go up against his former club Manchester United in the second leg of the Champions League at Old Trafford tomorrow following the 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu.

Before arriving in England with his teammates, Ronaldo spent some time with the retired footballer and posted a photo of the pair on Twitter with the caption: "Great fun with Maradona."

Meanwhile, United are expected to be without defender Phil Jones, who missed training today with an ankle injury.
