Queens Park Rangers' Clint Hill: 'We don't deserve to get drunk and party'

Hill: 'We don't deserve party'

Queens Park Rangers defender Clint Hill has admitted that he and his teammates don't deserve to have a Christmas party.

The struggling Premier League club cancelled their annual festivities due to their position at the bottom of the table.

"We haven't really talked about a Christmas party," Hill told The Chronicle. "The players never set out a date for a party because we don't really think we should be out having a day getting drunk and celebrating Christmas because of the situation we're in.

"There wasn't an actual meeting to say we're not having one, there was just a general feeling that we don't need one and shouldn't have one."

Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas has joked that he and his team deserve two or three Christmas parties.
