Beckham lets kids 'do what they want'

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder David Beckham has admitted that he and his wife Victoria allow their children to do what they please "99%" of the time.

The 37-year-old, who has a contract with the Ligue 1 outfit until the end of the season, has insisted that he wants his four children, the eldest being Brooklyn aged 14, to lead a "normal life".

"My eldest now is at the age where he wants to do things and he wants to go places and you have to hold him back, or we have to hold him back," Beckham told CNN World Sport.

"You have to explain it to him that there are certain things that he can't do. But to be honest, with our children, we let them do 99% of the things they want to do because we want them to lead a normal life."

Meanwhile, Beckham has claimed that he won't give up on an England recall.
