Ronaldo sleeps through World Cup draw

Portugal captain and Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has admitted to sleeping through the World Cup draw.

Thirty-two nations discovered their group fate for the World Cup finals following the draw in Bahia on Friday.

Instead of watching intently to discover who Portugal will be facing next summer, Ronaldo admitted in a press conference on Thursday that he was "sleeping".

Portugal have been drawn in Group G alongside Germany, Ghana and the United States.
