Newcastle United stock up on Demba Ba's strawberry syrup

Newcastle United have announced that they have stocked up on supplies of Demba Ba's favourite drink and will be selling the strawberry syrup from today.

Ba has shared his love for the Teisseire cordial drink, which he has brought over from France on a regular basis.

The Magpies started selling the drink last season as Ba hit form, scoring 16 goals in the Premier League, but quickly sold out.

Ba was happy that the drink was in such high demand on Tyneside. He said: "I love this stuff.

"I normally ask my family to bring some over with them whenever they visit, because I drink it every single day. Now our supporters can try it for themselves."

The strawberry syrup is back on sale at the club store and Shearer's Bar at the stadium.
