'Missing' Joe Kinnear posters put up in Newcastle

Posters joking that Newcastle United director of football Joe Kinnear has gone missing have been put up around the city.

It appears that the posters have been created as a jibe towards the club's lack of summer transfer activity.

According to 101greatgoals.com, one of the posters placed on a lamppost said: "Last seen around 11pm Monday 2nd September...Not thought of to be dangerous – certainly not in the transfer market – though prone to random outbursts of bad language and nonsensical statements. Appearance often dishevelled...May smell strongly of drink cologne...NO REWARD."

Kinnear arrived at St James' Park for his new role in the summer.
