Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis airlifted from burning yacht

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis was airlifted to safety after his yacht caught fire in the Gulf of Naples on Sunday.

The Italian businessman was believed to be out at sea on his boat the morning before Napoli secured a 5-0 victory over Lazio in Serie A.

Former Italy captain Fabio Cannavaro captured the flames on video and uploaded it to Instagram without the knowledge that it was De Laurentiis's yacht.

According to Eurosport, in total, 12 people were rescued.
