Lewis Hamilton, Nicole Scherzinger 'mutually decide to split up'

Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton and Nicole Scherzinger have reportedly ended their relationship.

The couple have had an on-off romance for more than six years, but it seems as though they have finally called it quits.

According to the Daily Mail, Hamilton and the American singer mutually decided to part ways as the long-distance nature of their relationship caused too much of a strain.

Scherzinger, who is currently starring in the West End musical Cats, is based in Los Angeles, while Hamilton lives in Monaco when he is not travelling the globe during the F1 season.

The sportsman recently admitted that he feels pressure to propose to Scherzinger.
