F1 ace Lewis Hamilton joins Hollywood stars in Cannes prior to Monaco Grand Prix

Reigning Formula 1 world champion Lewis Hamilton decided to take a brief trip to Cannes prior to this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.

The 30-year-old has mixed with Hollywood's elite numerous times over the last year, and the Brit took part in the parties during the Cannes Film Festival.

Earlier this week, Hamilton, dressed in a white tuxedo, was spotted attending a yacht party with a number of famous faces, including Paris Hilton and singer Robin Thicke.

Prior to that, the sportsman was among the guest list at the Chopard party at the Martinez Hotel.

Hamilton recently signed a new three-year deal with Mercedes, thought to be worth £100m.
