Lewis Hamilton camp quashes rumours about 'mystery girl'

Lewis Hamilton's camp have rubbished suggestions that the Formula 1 world champion left a nightclub in New York City with a mystery blonde woman.

The 30-year-old recently split up with girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger, whom he was in a relationship with on and off for seven years.

At the weekend, photos emerged of Hamilton leaving the Club Up and Down venue in Manhattan in the early hours of the morning, with a mystery woman walking behind him.

However, the sportsman's representative has told the Daily Mail that Hamilton left the club alone and has no idea who the woman photographed is.

The Mercedes driver will begin the defence of his F1 crown next month at the Australian Grand Prix.
