Angel: 'Lewis Hamilton should release music, he's a proper singer'

West London rapper Angel believes that Mercedes Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton could release his own music because he's a "proper singer".

The 28-year-old has spent numerous occasions recording music with the rapper, who has claimed that the ex-McLaren driver is a "breath of fresh air".

"The tracks he has recorded are off the hook!" Angel told The Sun. "He sounds better than certain singers. He's a proper singer. It's a breath of fresh air. He's got a smooth vocal.

"I hope [he releases some tracks] because it's actually crazy. Right now he's just recording. He's a perfectionist. He doesn't want to rush. If it doesn't sound right, he'll record it again."

Meanwhile, Hamilton clinched a podium place by coming third in the Malaysian Grand Prix on Sunday.
