McLaren's Martin Whitmarsh 'moves drivers out of mosquito-infested hotel'

McLaren 'move drivers out of hotel'

McLaren team principal Martin Whitmarsh has reportedly moved himself and his Formula 1 drivers out of last year's mosquito-infested hotel in India.

The whole team were expected to be staying at the New Delhi Hilton for the duration of the Indian Grand Prix this weekend, but due to the venue last year being plagued by mosquitoes, Whitmarsh has decided to look elsewhere.

The McLaren boss, drivers Jenson Button and Sergio Perez have moved to the Jaypee Greens, while the remaining staff, including mechanics and engineers, will stay put at the Hilton, according to the Daily Mail.

Meanwhile, reports have claimed that the Supreme Court will hear a petition calling for this weekend's race to be cancelled due to alleged unpaid tax.
