Video: Swansea City mascot in awe of Manchester United's Wayne Rooney in stadium tunnel

A Swansea City mascot looks in awe when he realises that Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney is standing next to him.

A young Swansea City mascot made headlines at the weekend when he looked at Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney in awe in the tunnel at the Liberty Stadium.

The boy, who was decked in the Swans' white home kit, was waiting in the tunnel with the team before being led out by captain Ashley Williams.

At one moment, the youngster was caught on film with a shocked expression on his face when he realised that Rooney was standing just an arm's length away from him.

The mascot's team were on the winning side by the final whistle as Swansea secured a 2-1 triumph on home turf.
