Scherzinger sings about Van Persie

Former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger took part in a parody song dedicated to Manchester United striker Robin van Persie during a radio interview in Manchester.

The American popstar, who is in a relationship with Mercedes Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, was a recent guest on Key 103 FM.

During her visit, the 36-year-old was asked to sing along to a different version, written by presenter Adam Catterall, of the Pussycat Dolls hit song 'Don't Cha'.

The song praised Van Persie's scoring ability after the Dutchman found the net four times during the World Cup in Brazil, where the Netherlands finished in third place.
