Cristiano Ronaldo sent his congratulations to former manager Sir Alex Ferguson after a statue of the Scot was unveiled at Old Trafford yesterday.
The Glaswegian, who has managed the Red Devils for 26 years, also has a stand named after him at United's home ground.
