Ashley Young marries partner four years after cancelling their wedding

Manchester United winger Ashley Young has married his long-term girlfriend Nicky Pike four years after cancelling their original wedding.

The couple were due to exchange vows in a ceremony in 2011, but the former Aston Villa player got cold feet and called off the wedding.

Four years later, on Saturday, Young walked down the aisle at the Stoke Place Hotel in Buckinghamshire, and former Villa star Stiliyan Petrov was one of the guests to celebrate the nuptials.

The couple, who began dating when they were in school, are parents to nine-year-old son Tyler and daughter Ellearna.
