Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has given his backing to BT Sport following their acquisition of the Champions League television rights.
The broadcaster announced the landmark deal to air matches from the elite competition, as well as the Europa League, from the 2015-16 campaign last week.
"We are excited by the continuing rise in the value of sports content," BBC Sport quotes Woodward as saying.
"This deal represents a meaningful increase over the current arrangement, which should translate into higher broadcasting revenues for the participating clubs."
United's revenue within the last three months has risen by 29.1% to £98m.
